Ellabell - Jerry Frost, 65, died suddenly Tuesday, November 16, 2010 in Memorial University Medical Center.
Jerry was a native and lifelong resident of Ellabell and was a 1963 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School. He retired from the Savannah Sugar Refinery, in 2007, after 28 years of service, but continued to work on his family farm until his death. Jerry was a member of Blitchton Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his first wife, of 41 years, Juliette Jones Frost; his parents Troy and Mamie Lou Frost; three brothers, Elmer, Julian and Gene Frost and his sister, Sara Lou F. Shuman.
Mr. Frost is survived by his wife, Debbie E. Frost of Ellabell; daughter, Jerri Lynn Frost of Sarasota, FL; sons, Greg Frost of Statesboro and Jason Frost of Richmond Hill; sisters, Hazel F. Anderson and Geraldine F. Williamson both of Statesboro; sisters-in-law, Martha A. Drawdy of Ellabell and Jeanette Frost of Meldrim; brother-in-law, Harmon J. Jones and his wife Janice of Ellabell; his wife's children and grandchildren, Leonard Anthony "Lenny" Galle, IV and Nayiby Contreras of Lilburn and Lawrence Anthony "Larry" Galle and Tamera Todd of Ellabell; Leonard Anthony "Lenny" Galle, V of Lilburn and Lawrence Anthony Galle, II of Ellabell; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside Funeral Service: 11:00 AM Saturday, November 20, in Olive Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Clint Sullens officiating.
The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the funeral service in the Church Fellowship Hall.
